If the water quality is low, the Micro Ceramic Filter can periodically change colour from white to a darker shade of beige. In cases where rust is trapped, the Micro-Ceramic Filter will turn a light brown to a reddish colour. There is soil and sand that has come to a halt. The Micro Ceramic Filter is reversible, and the colour of the filter has no bearing on its usefulness or functionality.
